About Us
A word from the Founder
Our community is one of the oldest in Mesopotamia. At the crossroads of civilizations, we have always been a bridge between the worlds that meet between the two rivers. Today, this population is in a critical situation, on the brink of potential extinction, which would be catastrophic for the history of the Middle East. Maintaining the ancestral diversity of this part of the world is everyone's responsibility.
Recognizing this, we created The Return, a non-profit organization that addresses the specific needs of returnees. Deciding to return is never a simple choice, nor a straight road. It can be a difficult journey, often a happy one, but in all cases, it requires concrete, ongoing moral and material support. Just as associations and governments in Western countries help immigrants integrate, we help returnees reintegrate into their homeland.
The profiles of returnees are varied: second- or third-generation young people, families who have recently left the country, investors, retirees wishing to spend peaceful days back home. All share a common attachment to their homeland, their culture, and their identity. On a case-by-case basis, we assist these returnees in their adventure. Some may need language courses, others a professional network, and still others a home base for occasional or regular stays.
The Return meets these needs, thanks to your support, our generous donors, and our sister organizations. Returning home is crucial. The stakes are high. Together, we can make it real.

Our Values
Citizenship
Citizenship is the element that must bring together all components of the Iraqi society beyond their ethnic and religious affiliations
Unity
Despite ethnic and religious diversity, the Return Organisation provides its services to the entire Christian community, without distinction
Fraternity
"The Return" aims to improve the situation in the country as a whole, to help create conditions for the return of all components of the Iraqi society. In this way, the Organisation promotes brotherhood between the peoples of Mesopotamia.
Independance
"The Return" will seek the support of all those who wish to see the return of the diasporas and the development of the country. This support cannot be an opportunity for ethnic, religious or political components to impose an agenda that goes against the purpose of the Organisation or the interest of the country.
